Micro-weddings, mini-monies, there are all sorts of ways to describe a smaller wedding. What we like about the trend toward more personal and intimate weddings is that it frees us up to be 100% present with you and your guests instead of freaking out trying to set up 100 chairs. Who wants that kind of stress? Certainly not us, and neither do you.
That’s why we made the conscious decision to limit all of our micro-wedding packages to a truly micro-wedding size. Just y’all two, or y’all two and twenty-five (25), we have the perfect package for you.
And if you want accommodations The Appalachian Wedding Chapel is in the same lovely old house as Basswood , the town of Capon Bridge’s premier Airbnb. With a little advance planning, you and your guests can book any of Basswood’s five (5) beautifully decorated suites, then hold your wedding on the grounds overlooking the Cacapon River. Note: You do not have to stay at Basswood to have your ceremony at the Appalachian Wedding Chapel, and there are a number of reception venue locations close by.
The Cacapon Package at AWC $1250.00
The Cacapon Package is our most budget friendly option for a modestly sized wedding. Perfect for groups of up to 25, choose from any of our secular or light religious ceremonies that you and your guests will never forget. You’ll have the comfort of our complete support as we work together with you to craft your special day, providing coordination with our Trusted Vendors, and guiding you, your guests and your wedding party through a flawless day.
The Cacapon Package includes:
- 2 hours on site with access for photographer
- Approximately 20-minute secular or light religious ceremony
- Day of coordination and coordination with vendors
- Seating for 25 (20.00 ea. addl. guest)
- 2 non-alcoholic light refreshments (tea, lemonade etc. )
- Your choice of site – indoor/outdoor, arbor or gazebo
- Complimentary loaner bouquet, boutonniere.
- Bluetooth speaker for your playlist.
- Video tripod access for your smartphone.
- Complimentary decorations (plus you can add your own).

The Shenandoah Package at AWC $1950.00
For an all-inclusive and personalized wedding, our Shenandoah Package is our most popular option. With all the amenities of the Cacapon, the Shenandoah also includes up to one hour of professional photography, a beautifully-made cake serving 25 from local bakery, Garden of Knead’n, ceremony personalization and unity ceremony, and premium decoration.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals help the wedding day run smoothly, especially when there are additional ceremonies and large wedding parties involved. These usually take place on the day or evening before the wedding, and we’re happy to guide you and your wedding party step by step until everyone is at ease. ($125.00)
