Yes, that’s right, we said eagles. Hampshire County, WV’s own Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad features several different excursion options, but none is more stunningly beautiful and popular than the 3 hour trip through the wild wonderful canyon valley known as the Trough.
Winding beside the South Branch of the Potomac River, this popular adventure offers a deep connection to West Virginia’s wilderness and natural beauty. The narrated 35 mile round trip showcases the natural splendor and iconic beauty of the canyon’s many resident bald eagles. What a backdrop for your perfect wedding!

Y’all Two Water Otters Getting Married $1750.00
You may not want to come in a rented tux for this one, but what the heck – the local wildlife won’t mind.
The Cacapon River is one of the cleanest (and we think) one of the most beautiful rivers in WV. We’ll supply the kayaks, transportation, floating officiant and photographer, too, for a truly unforgettable wedding.
A short float (about 1.5 hours), the ceremony takes place about halfway, and it can be extended depending on the time of year and level of water in the river. This particular wedding adventure features:
